Canonical company has announced the first Phone running on Ubuntu and
called "Ubuntu Edge" which considered the first phone running on Ubuntu
which is an Open source platform, Also the company collected 32 million
dollar as donations for the project.
The company intends to produce about 40 thousand piece and will be
available next may, Ubuntu firstly appeared on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 in the
beginning of 2013. Ubuntu Edge the phone doesn't only run on Ubuntu as it
contains Android and the user can change between them any time he needs,
and this is considered the most outstanding feature of it.
Ubuntu Edge will have multi core processor, 4 Giga Rams, 127 G internal
memory, A 4.5 inches screen with resolution of 729x1280 pixel and 8 mega
pixel back camera and a 2 mega pixel front one. Also Ubuntu Edge will be
supporting 4G , WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS connections.
These phone will be Super and wonderful but these features will cost a lot $-)
as it will be released in USA for 830$
