Sometimes installing third party software can cause harm to your computer
and even cause a virus infection causing you to wish you could take your
system to a previous state. Therefore before making any changes to your
computer or installing any software it is recommended to create a system
restore point. System Restore takes your computer back to the state it was in
the restore point was created. Thus if you create a restore point before
installing a software, then when you restore your machine you will find the
software uninstalled as well as its effects removed. To know more you can
see the Windows Help and Support Center (press F1 while on the desktop).
This article teaches you how to create a restore point in Windows 7.
